Draft Gore 2008 PAC

The Romney campaign used the third floor of the Hynes Convention Center, which many, many years ago, I came very close to wiring for a SIGGRAPH, and ran a tech-intensive call center filling 400 seats with the former governor’s biggest supporters doing the calls.

It is an impressive piece of theater. I respect good hall work. Few people do it well. The database bit seems a bit overblown, after all, it really amounts to calling the Xmas cards, but the writer is pushing the tech gloss in this piece.

This piece is worth reading, despite its hometown techno-boosterism.
