Iran violates Israeli president’s visit to UAE

In comments at a press conference on Monday, Saeed Khatibzadeh lamented moves to normalize ties with the Zionist regime.

He also decried the Israeli president’s official visit to the UAE and warned countries helping the Zionist regime create crises in the name of normalizing relations that they themselves would be the first victims of Israel’s aggressive nature.

Iran condemns moves to normalize relations with Israel and advises countries to hear the voice of their awakened nations and stop creating division in the Islamic and Arab world, Khatibzadeh added.

Creating crisis is a quality inherent in the nature of the Zionist regime, he said, adding that the survival of the Israeli regime is based on crisis, terror, violence and bloodshed.

Denouncing Israel as the only apartheid regime in the international system, the Iranian spokesman said the regime seeks hegemony of a racial minority in the occupied territories and systematic cruel actions against the main residents of Palestine.

On Sunday morning, Israeli President Isaac Herzog arrived in the United Arab Emirates in the first such visit, more than a year after Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv signed a US-brokered normalization agreement that infuriated the Palestinians, who condemned it like a stab in the back, and provoked a strong reaction in the region.
